Almost one month ago, the 17th edition of LogiMAT took place in Stuttgart. The CAM attachments team also had a stand at this international trade fair and they look back on their participation with satisfaction.
The stand and the products
The CAM attachments stand was located in hall 10 where you could find most attachment brands. On the stand, three products were highlighted that are often used in the material handling world: the paper roll clamp, the 360° rotating fork positioner with wide opening and the roll-forward skip. People were particularly interested in the paper roll clamp because of its impressive appearance, solid structure and high-quality finish. Of course there was enough visual material provided, such as action shots and product videos so that the visitors could see the attachments in action.
3 busy days
"We had three busy, but very interesting days", says Sven Vanoverschelde. He is the sales development agent for, amongst others, Germany. "This trade fair was the perfect occasion to catch up with existing customers, to inform them about our new products and to present them our updated product catalogue. But I've also established new relations with interesting visitors of which I am convinced that we will work together in the near future. We have already started working together with some of them. The future sure looks promising!"
New trends
We didn't spot a lot of new products during this trade fair. But the focus was certainly placed on the automation of logistic processes. For example, we saw self-driving lift trucks. This trend can also be felt in the world of attachments: it will not take long before the 'smart' attachments of which the operation can be controlled automatically become popular.
